Letters to Santa!

We began our countdown to Christmas by writing letters to Santa! It was so much fun and gave mommy and daddy an insight to what the kids are wishing for…and oh boy, are we in for it.

We love Christmas! It is our favorite holiday and even though this year is completely different than what we are used to, we are trying to make it just as special and fun!

For our first day of Christmas, we wrote our letters for Santa! The kids were so excited and had so much fun figuring out what they want Santa to bring to them this year. (We’ve only been looking at toy catalogs for months)

A couple items that we found out the kids wanted were:
Our oldest son wants a new puppy, our 6-year-old son wants another cat, our daughter wants candy and our little guy wants donuts and sandwiches… does anyone else have the weirdest kids?

We did our Christmas tree decorating and hanging of the stockings and Tractor the Elf came to watch them, but writing these letters to Santa was their favorite part!

They were each so thrilled to tell Santa everything they wanted and couldn’t wait to tell mom and dad what Santa is going to get them! After they told us, they ran and asked Tractor if he would fly their letters to Santa that night so he got them before Christmas.

I love watching the kids and their excitement, it is always so special and such a great tradition we have started as a blended family. I can’t wait for these next 11 days with my family creating amazing memories we will all cherish and love.
